I would like to commence my humble application by thanking the reader for taking the time out of his/her busy schedule to read my humble application for membership. I, Shaikh Shahrukh Farhan, I have completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Computer & Science Engineering from North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am currently working as a Staff Correspondent (at Daily Observer with my primary responsibility of coverage being of Telecommunication, ICT, Business and Innovation, and further including Education, NBR, Tourism, National Election and Politics (Jatiya Party).

Besides all those sections now am covering the most celebrated segment of Bangladesh Government is Bangabandhu’s birth centenary and golden jubilee of independence of Bangladesh program.

A journalist turned public communication expert, having demonstrated experience of working in the Bangladeshi media industry for two decades both Bengali and English.

Previously covered different field – from Sports to Politics, Parliament to Expatriate sector and then settled-down to BUSINESS REPORTING where concentrated more on telecommunication, technology, digital business, digital services, digital financial industries.

Skilled in copy writing, news writing, editing, journalism, media research, and media relations. Strong media and communication professional expertise having a post-graduate degree from The University of Dhaka.

Having the expertise in moderate and organised different events like webinars, seminars, round-table discussions, workshops, and training sessions run shows for television and digital platforms.

Lead the Telecom Reporters Network, Bangladesh (TRNB), an organization of reporters who are covering digital issues, as President, General Secretary and Treasures over last one decade. Play role to run National Press Club becoming a member of its different management committee.
